About Me
Born in Gastonia, North Carolina, raised and educated in Baltimore, Maryland and Wilmington, Delaware, Valerie longed for a small, safe and nurturing environment where her toddler daughter could learn and grow physically, mentally and physically. She visited and fell in love with the US Virgin Islands, and in 1996, her husband and daughter chose St. Croix as their new home. She landed on the Island without a job, and using her persistence and confidence, immediately found employment…moving forward in all facets of her life ever since.
The warmth of the people and the consistent 85 degree weather is what has kept them in St. Croix. She says it is the perfect place for her family, which has increased by one, and they have no plans of leaving. The beauty of the Island and the closeness of the community allows for a peaceful spirit. Plus, she says, “Who wouldn’t want to wake up to blue skies and sparkling water every morning?”
She has a degree from Widener University in Wilmington, DE and over 25 years of Office and Business Administration experience, as well as wholesale retail sales and business ownership experience. She is also involved in non-profit organizations on the Island.
Valerie has made many friends and professional contacts during her life on the big Island, and she is able to assist you with all of your real estate needs.
